Cynthia Ross


President & Principal

Cynthia came from the private sector in December of 2013. As a strategic planner, she coauthored PROFIT$ software and became instrumental in providing solutions to fleets seeking a more efficient operation. She acts as the company’s Project Manager. She recently developed the strategic alliance focused on providing a Complete Long-Term Plan for the Transition to Electric.

Her phenomenal communication skills allow her to go below the surface of external challenges. Combining this knowledge with the thorough understanding of a fleet’s current practices and their goals, she is then able to provide prudent solutions that result in a written plan toward the achievement of a more efficient operation. Her prudent accounting practices, ability to hit milestones, cost control and performance within budget allocations allows her to oversee projects ensuring all Client goals are met and exceeded. Cynthia manages all collaboration between Client, LRC, alliance members, subcontractors, and others involved in the project.

Rick D. Longobart

Director of Fleet Data Software

Vice President & Principal

Involved in the Fleet industry for 32 years, Rick led the City of Santa Ana Fleet to 3rd Best Fleet overall, #1 Mid-Size Fleet in the country, and 9th on 100 Best and Greenest Fleet in the Nation in 2014. A member of (MEMA) for 29 years, he was President for ten. He’s past chair of the NAFA Pacific Southwest Chapter.

Rick is a highly accomplished management professional with proven leadership skills and a track record of award-winning performance in the public service sector of Public Works handling Fleet, facility, street maintenance, solid waste management and custodial services. He possesses an extensive background in budgeting, equipment replacement, capital improvements and management of internal service funds using lifecycle cost analysis, real-time operating charges and cooperative agreements for purchase of products and services. Rick excels at the development and implementation of cost containment strategies and at dramatically improving operations through institution of creative solutions. He demonstrates ability in successful representation of division to governing bodies and in the management of hazardous materials.

Adrian Gomez

Director of Electrification Software

Adrian has experience with transportation electrification through work in the utility and automotive space.

He led strategy and business development efforts to grow the transportation electrification portfolio at Ontario Power Generation, one of Canada’s largest electricity generators. He also developed a deep understanding of the electric vehicle industry while working in strategy and corporate development at Lucid Motors, an electric vehicle manufacturer in Fremont California, where he was a key contributor to the company’s $1 billion USD fundraise.

Adrian applies his industry experience and extensive network to provide high value fleet electrification advice to government agencies. He has provided fleet electrification advice to state, county and city government fleets in the USA. He has also provided cleantech advice and support to the governments of Finland and Canada.

Dr. Sam Saxena

Managing Director of Engineering & Software Systems

As a Research Scientist and Principal Investigator at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Sam led a team and >$15M research portfolio conducting research and deploying tools to overcome technology and consumer perception barriers against the uptake of electric mobility.

Sam has served as a reviewer, contributor, and editorial board member on several influential journals and technical working groups, including for the DOE’s Grid Integration Tech Team, the DOE Multi-Lab EV-Smart Grid Working Group, the Society of Automotive Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and Progress in Energy and Combustion Science – the highest impact journal in the field of energy sciences. His research and reports have been published in top journals, including Nature Climate Change.

Through these R&D and product development efforts, Sam has conducted extensive user studies, customer discovery, and market research, including on car buyers, fleet managers, car dealers, and property owners. He used this experience to create the data science foundation behind our company’s MyFleetBuy product.

Dave Hein

Director of Infrastructure

Dave has been an industry veteran in the engineering field for over 35 years. He has worked with engineering firms such as Greenhorne & Omara and Reynolds Smith & Hills in the transportation sector. Dave continued with being the founder and operator of a Florida State Engineering Company for over 15 years, specializing in designing over 400 Commercial Building Projects, historic and commercial.

In 2009, Dave focused on promoting the Department of Energy Grant to deploy Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in 15 Cities, with the completion of over 350 Level 2 EV Charged nationwide, partnering with AAA, Wyndham Worldwide, Hilton, Dunkin Brands, General Motors and Nissan, for the installation of over 300 DC Fast Chargers Nationwide.

In addition, Dave worked with Nissan directly in educating companies to the benefits of transitioning Electric Vehicles by hosting numerous Ride-n-Drives through the Southeast area. After over 10 years in the EV infrastructure industry, Dave had experienced global problems that many EV Charging Station Manufacturers were not solving, like cost effective infrastructure, Network exclusivity, and warranty repairs. Solving these problems for clients was the motivation to join the Seamless EV Transition Group.

James Freese

Director of Installation

James Freese is an expert in solar and energy management. He attended the University of Iowa on a football scholarship, where he attained a BA Degree in Marketing and Finance.

As a corporate leader, he has over twenty years experience with finance and marketing strategies. He has an entrepreneurial mindset and marketing skills refined through leadership roles involving various business collaborations. He believes that setting goals and being results-oriented is the key to success in any endeavor.

One of his favorite quotes is, “Don’t wait for extraordinary opportunities. Seize common occasions and make them great.”

Darin Damron

Director of Client Events

Darin Damron has been working in the Fleet Industry for over 15 years. He worked as Director of sales for Sea Electric. Darin has broken all sales records as an individual representative in the Automotive Industry. As a manager, he was awarded the Jasper Engines’ President Award for achieving top branch in the company for three years in a row.

He was also in charge of the SE JET propane division, in which he worked with many fleets, selling and converting their vehicles to run on a dual-fuel system designed by ICOM. The same company that builds the mono system for ROUSH. Darin’s entire career’s success has been built on being extremely prepared, hardworking, by knowing how to communicate with his teammates and customers, starting earlier, and going longer than anyone else.

Kristin Cooper

Grant Management Associates

Kristin Cooper is a former full professor at CSU Chico’s School of Engineering and is the past Founder and Director of the university’s Environmental Resource Program. She is the founding director and managed the school’s Concrete Management Program, and also managed federal grants for five of the university’s schools. She has been an expert witness and consultant to the California Attorney General and the U.S. Justice Department on grant management. She has over thirty years of experience designing programs, both as a grant writer and project manager. Kristin holds a master’s degree in program evaluation and administration with a focus on organizational management from CSU, Chico.

Kristin is one of the premier grant experts in the country and has won over $500 million in grants since 2009 for over 200 clients in the private, government, and non-profit sectors, with a particular emphasis on renewable energy, water, transportation, and housing. She won the initial grants that birthed the largest EV charging station company in the world and has helped many other start-ups, as well as large corporations and over forty state and local governments with an almost 90% winning percentage, almost unheard of in the industry. She manages a team of twenty-seven grant writers nationwide with various specialties.
